After
a decade in the US Air Force, I worked in Corporate Human Resources
for over 20 years with first Texas Instruments then Fujitsu. My assignments
included international as well as USA business units. I have been
influenced by W Edward Deming, Peter F. Drucker, and many others.
As a
consultant, I follow how Deming and Drucker began their work with
companies by first getting them to accept reality and then
deciding on the "right things" to do. These concepts
continuously are being studied by others, written about, and rediscovered
repeatedly. In
many ways I remain a student; learning about some these ideas and
using them to help organizations wanting to survive and progress.
